The Homestead Neighborhood Association will meet on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 6:30 – 8:30 pm over Zoom.

Emergency Preparedness Presentation

April 11 @ 1:30 - 4:30 pm

The Homestead Neighborhood Association has arranged to have a Neighborhood Emergency Team (NET) volunteer to present simple, inexpensive ways to prepare for emergencies ranging from severe weather to a major earthquake. During this engaging session with other community members, we will discuss making plans for home, work, and school; creating go/stay kits; storing water and food; home seismic retrofitting; considerations for multifamily buildings; emergency sanitation; and more.

Additional information will be provided about optional volunteer opportunities to serve your neighbors during an emergency by receiving additional training from PBEM and Portland Fire & Rescue, including the Neighborhood Emergency Team (NET) and BEECN (Basic Earthquake Emergency Communication Node) programs.

Please join us at the Hillsdale Library on Saturday April 11, 2026 from 1:30 – 4:30 pm.

Pizza will be served and prizes will be won!

Neighborhood Litter Pickup

Homestead neighborhood association Meetings

The Homestead Neighborhood Association meets monthly, on the first Tuesday from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. No meetings in July and August. The annual Membership Meeting with elections is held on the first Tuesday in June.

Meetings are held virtually, except quarterly in-person meetings which are held March, June, September and December. All meetings are open to the public; every one is welcome.
